Azteca Systems Congratulates ESRI SAG Winners
Several Cityworks Clients Recognized for Special Achievement in GIS

Sandy, UT — Congratulations to the 2005 recipients of the ESRI Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) awards, recently bestowed at the 2005 ESRI International Users Conference. Azteca Systems offers special attention to the cities of Long Beach California, Loveland Colorado and Naperville Illinois, as well as Hamilton County Tennessee – all users of Cityworks.

The SAG award recognizes ESRI customers that have demonstrated outstanding use of GIS in their organization. The city of Loveland Colorado has become more GIS-centric, making GIS a key business process tool in several departments. The city’s water and wastewater utility information is input into ArcSDE using standard ArcMap tools, with Cityworks and OriginGIS software used as extensions to ArcMap to manage maintenance and design of the infrastructure data. Long Beach California uses Cityworks with ArcGIS to manage the cities parks, streets and marinas while Naperville has deployed ArcGIS-based Cityworks and Azteca Systems’ Call Center as major components of the their enterprise GIS implementation.

”We’re very excited to see so many of our customers be recognized by ESRI,” said Brian Haslam, President Azteca Systems. “Though all these award winners have achieved tremendous heights, we’re especially proud of our Cityworks sites. These sites demonstrate the benefits of a GIS-based approach, the returns on investment and the capabilities of GIS as an enterprise system. Clearly the market trend is towards GIS-centric applications. ”

Cityworks is the only asset maintenance management solution built on top of ESRI's ArcGIS suite of products. Reaching the broadest array of customers, Cityworks can be deployed to manage any type of asset feature including, public works and water/wastewater, oil & gas, transportation, public utilities and telecommunications. With Cityworks, agencies that own and maintain capitol assets and infrastructure can effectively manage and optimize their assets within a GIS-centric architecture.
